Causes of diabetes include genetic disorders, chemicals, drugs, malnutrition, and obesity. Diabetes is a disease that must be managed throughout a person’s life. People who are diabetic usually have to check their blood sugar levels regularly. They also may get injections of hormones. Common symptoms of both type I, and type II diabetes are; urinating very frequently, and being frequently very thirsty. In type I diabetes, a person may experience both loss of appetite and vomiting. In type II diabetes, a person may experience hunger, some weight loss, and tiredness. If diabetes is not managed properly, or is ignored by the person who has it, the effects often lead to; heart disease, stroke, possible blindness, and loss of parts of an entire leg or legs.
