Here are a few tips for maintaining your mental health. Be positive! A positive attitude is an important key to good mental health and happiness. When you get up in the morning, tell yourself what a great day you are going to have. If something goes wrong, take a few deep breaths. Think calmly about how to solve the problem, then take action. Change the things you can. Is there something about your personality or behavior that you would like to change? First, feel good about the things you do like about yourself. Make a list of those things you like about yourself. Then, set a goal for yourself, and take steps to change what you do not like about yourself.
